This morning we left Mansilla, heading onward to Leon. The protocols typically involve having a time frame for having luggage in a specific location and breakfast. We noticed that breakfast at our little hotel was late but we were not in a rush. Suddenly the outer door flies open and our hostess runs in, apologizing profusely for oversleeping. In any case, we had a nice walk during the day, much of it on gravel and sandy paths near roadways. On one of our coffee stops, the manager of the restaurant presented us with Chupa Chups -lollipops to send us on our way.
