Walking Along The Road

Today’s walk included a significant part of the industrial area west of Leon so we skipped past that. We still had a lot of roadside walking.

We did encounter some flowers, mushrooms, and agricultural activity.

And storks with their nests in church steeples.

For you that have asked for some numbers, today we passed the marker showing we have only 300.8 kilometers, 187 miles, to go.  That would be like walking down I-5 from Everett to Vancouver, Washington. When we started we had 780 kilometers to Santiago. Just 13 more walking days and we will be in Santiago.
Tonight we are in Órbigo.

Some of the interesting structures on the plath.  Sorry I don’t know what each one is.

As we entered Órbigo across a long stone bridge, we saw a field that appears to be set up for jousting.
